Jessica Szucs Barlow


    Jessica Szucs Barlow is the owner and director of Perfect Pointe Performing Arts Studio, since its establishment in 2005. Jessica has been dancing since the young age of 2 ½ and has not stopped since. She has studied all genres of dance including, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, pointe, hip-hop, musical theatre, and modern. Throughout her adolescent years she competed in talent competitions with her previous studios companies and many beauty pageants. The combination of these performances has molded her into the confident woman she is today. When Jessica performs in front of an audience she commands a presence. This is what she tries to instill in each and every student she works with. She has also been educating herself outside her studios since her teenage years, taking classes in NYC and auditioning for musicals and cruise-ships.

Jessica graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelor degree in dance from DeSales University. Throughout her college dance career, she studied with accomplished teachers, Vincent Brosseau, Trinette Singleton, Lynne Mariani and more. She was a member of DeSales University Touring Company where she traveled and performed for schools, nursing homes, etc. Jessica was also a DSU dance team member and has been an active performer in DeSales Young Choreographers Series and Dance Ensemble throughout her four years. She has performed in various venues around Pennsylvania and attended American College Dance Festivals and educational dance conferences as well. Jessica brought her love of teaching to DSU’s Conservatory of Dance program providing for children in the outside community. While attending college, she studied courses in Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Modern, Dance History, Dance Composition, Kinesiology, Teaching Methods and also became a member of National Dance Educators Organization which advances dance education centered in the arts. Miss Jessica has also volunteered her time teaching dance at local elementary schools for their after school and Summer Recreation programs. Jessica is not yet ready to give up her days of dancing either. She continuously studies dance at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and attends conventions and workshops to keep up with the latest choreography and teaching methods. Jessica’s inspires her students to be the best dancers they possibly can and encourages a love of dance no matter what age, level or style.

Rebecca McCormac


Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Rebecca McCormac completed her Masters's in Dance at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. A registered teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance, McCormac holds her Jazz Award and Teaching Diploma in Tap for the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance (COMDANCE) and is a past recipient of the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dances’ Blue Sash Award. 


Performance credits include a European Tour with Australian-based “Link” Dance Company and New York seasons with Barry Blumenfeld’s “Tap Fusion” and Ellen Stokes-Shadle’s “Dance Works”. 


She has been commissioned to teach and choreograph contemporary, modern, and tap work on both a national and international scale. Recent guest positions include Sacred Heart University Connecticut, NYU Steinhardt School New York, and the Peridance Capezio Center. 


Judging credits include Impact Dance Adjudicators, One Beat Dance Brands, Star Quest, Fly National Dance Competition, Evolution Dance Competition, Ballarat Dance Eisteddfod, Live To Dance Ultimate Challenge, Quota International of Beenleigh Dance Eisteddfod, Bendio Dance 

Eisteddfod, Ipswich Junior Eisteddfod Society, Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod, Mandurah Festival of Dance, Comdance’s Born to Perform, Gold Coast Eisteddfod, and more. 


McCormac is presently the Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer of CoreDance Contemporary in New York City, which she founded in 2011. Her work has been shown at APAP New York City Center, The ODC Theatre San Francisco, The Dairy Arts Center Boulder, The ArtsHub Colorado, Wake Forest Dance Festival North Carolina, The Orlando Repertory Theatre, The Dance Complex Boston, Atlas Performing Arts Center D.C. CHI Movement Arts Center Philadelphia, Alvin Ailey, Steps on Broadway, Dixon Place, White Wave, Triskelion Arts, and The Mark O’Donnell Theatre to name a few.

Melissa Reardon


Melissa Reardon has been dancing since the young age of 2 1/2. After obtaining her BFA in Dance from Montclair State University, Melissa began her teaching career and has been sharing her passion and love of her art for 15+ years. She has taught at many studios throughout New Jersey and taught at, and continues to choreograph for, Roxbury High School (Choice School of the Arts). Melissa holds her NJ certification to teach dance in public schools and continues to study at Broadway Dance Center, Steps and Peridance.


Melissa's work can be found throughout New York & New Jersey. Not only has her work won numerous choreography and high score awards, but has also been recognized as National Champions & invited to World Dance Championships several times. Her most recent work has been showcased at Jennifer Muller, The Works (NYC), Peridance (NYC) and various venues for Dance New Jersey's Show Up & Dance showcases.


Recently Melissa has been invited to choreograph for Dancers Make a Change Dance convention, has hosted workshops at various studios and is in the beginning stages of starting up a contemporary company to continue to showcase her work. She has also choreographed for The Dancers Dream Fund, assisted choreography for Roxbury High School musicals (Footloose, Beauty and the Beast & The Addams Family), taught workshops for MCST (VPA program), set choreography for The Nextstep Dance Company, Dance Innovations Performance Foundation, Randolph High School Dance Company and much more.

Nicole Finley


Nicole Finley is a graduate of Montclair State University and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, concentrating in Modern and Ballet. She was the recipient of the Choreographic Excellence Award upon graduation. Nicole is from Marlboro, New York and has been dancing since she was 3 years old, performing throughout her childhood at many competitions, community and charity events. Ever since a young child she knew dance was an important part of her life and wanted to make it her career. She has had the privilege of working with amazing choreographers such as Maxine Steinman, JT Jenkins, Urban Bush Women, Jesse DeMauro, and Karen Gayle. She has attended American College Dance Festival, conventions in the tri-state area and Hip Hop Worlds competitions, of which she has taken those experiences and used them to help create her own choreographic style. Her professional career started with hip hop where she has done music videos with Diggy Simmons, Maino, Swizz Beatz, Juelz Santana and has performed all over the east coast for artists, charity and entertainment events. As a dance educator of most styles and techniques, Nicole loves to continue to learn and grow by taking classes in New York City, and attending teacher’s conventions.  Nicole has over 15 years of teaching experience ranging from ages three to adult and has won top score and choreography awards at regional and national competitions. As a dance instructor, Nicole is dedicated and always excited to share her love of dance and passion for choreography with all of her students.

Jaime Chervony


Jaime Chervony is a Sparta based dance instructor and choreographer.  She began her dance training at the age of 2 and studied various styles of dance throughout her studio training.  Jaime entered the world of competitive dance at age 9 where she earned top scores at Regional and National competitions.  In addition to her performances, Jaime attended conventions and Master classes on both the East and West coasts.  After High School, Jaime studied at Marymount Manhattan College where she earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance with a Minor in Education.  Post graduation, Jaime taught at various Northern New Jersey dance studios where she had the pleasure of running a competitive dance program, implementing an acrobatics program, as well as training other teachers on how to run a smooth and engaging preschool dance class.  With her expertise in all styles of dance, and age range of students, Jaime takes her 20+ years of teaching experience and creates a classroom that fosters education, creativity and a safe space for dancers to grow!  In her free time, Jaime runs the Sparta Mom's Facebook Page where she helps to recommend local businesses and help to keep familial values at the forefront throughout the town of Sparta.  Jaime loves to spend time in town with her husband Joe, son Hunter, and daughter Kendall and feels grateful to have found a career that combines her passion for the art of dance and education. 


Stephanie Correal 


Stephanie Correal is from North Caldwell, NJ and is a graduate of Seton Hall University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education concentrating in Special Education at the Early Childhood and Elementary level. She is currently a Preschool Teacher at Franklin Borough School. 


Stephanie spent most of her years dancing jazz, tap and ballet at The Caldwell School of Dance and The Dance Factory in Caldwell, NJ. She has also taken ballet and jazz at New Jersey School of Ballet. In 2003 she became a co-founder of the Seton Hall University Dance Team. In her last year of college she was hired as a Coach & Advisor for West Essex JHS, JV and Varsity dance teams. In 2009, she was hired as the Head Coach of a Semi-Professional dance team called the Hawkettes based out of Bergen County. In 2011 she helped create and coach a new Semi-Pro dance team called the New Jersey Emeralds. During this time, Stephanie also taught jazz and cheerdance at Essex Dance Academy in Fairfield NJ for 1st grade through High School. In 2023 she started the Franklinites Dance Club at Franklin Borough School and became it’s lead Advisor.


Stephanie currently resides in Franklin with her children Carly, Collin and their dog Tyson. She loves spending time with her kids playing board games, playing outside or going for walks. 


Stephanie’s daughter has been dancing at Perfect Pointe Performing Arts Studio since the age of 2 and is currently on the Company Team.

Nicole Quarta


Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Nicole Quarta began her dance journey at the age of 5. After years of competing for her local studio and nationally ranked kickline team, she pursued a double major in Dance and Psychology at SUNY Brockport. There, she had the opportunity to study under distinguished choreographers such as William Evans, Karl Rogers and James Hansen. She was also a dancer and captain for the award winning Brockport Dance Team. Throughout her years of training, she has become proficient in a variety of styles including jazz, contemporary, tap, modern and ballet. 


Upon graduating with her dance degree in 2015, Nicole began her teaching career. Nicole has trained dancers in New York, Indiana and, presently, New Jersey. As a choreographer, Nicole has set numerous award winning pieces for both dance studios and high school dance teams and has been recognized for her outstanding choreography at a variety of dance competitions both regionally and nationally. She has also set seasonal choreography for professional dance company Ballet INitiative based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Nicole’s students have been recognized for their outstanding technique, musicality and performance quality. Many of them have been accepted to continue their training with prestigious dance programs such as Joffrey Ballet School, The Miami Hurricanes Dance Team, The Rockettes Summer Intensive, and more.


Currently, Nicole resides in New Jersey with her husband and daughter. She looks forward to continuing to foster the creativity and love for dance in young artists for years to come!

Alana Antanaitis


Alana started dancing at the young age of 2 1/2. Throughout her dancing career, she studied ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, modern and contemporary. A majority of Alana’s dancing career was spent at Perfect Pointe when she joined back in 2005. When Alana was 12, she took her dancing passion to the next level and competitively danced as part of PAC. She attended many conventions in NYC, Philly, and throughout the state of NJ and took classes with many talented choreographers. While Alana was studying dance at the studio, she spent several years as a student teacher. 


Alana went to The University of Rhode Island where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2018. During her time at school, she was a part of the dance company where she participated in multiple dances and performed each semester. Alana was also part of Greek life and took any dancing opportunity that came her way. She performed in dance numbers for fundraisers and helped choreograph with her sorority. 


Alana is excited to be back at Perfect Pointe to continue her love for the art of dance and share her love by teaching. 


Shannon Tobin


Shannon began dancing at the age of three, where she took classes in ballet, tap, jazz and acro. She then moved on to become a competitive gymnast until high school graduation.


From 1997 to 2004, she taught ballet, tap, jazz and tumbling classes at the former Sussex County Dance Academy. In 1999 she began coaching gymnastics at Shield's Gymnastics of Mt. Freedom, where she created her own competitive JOGA gymnastics team. In 2002 she graduated with an associate’s degree in dance and fine arts from Morris County Community College after completing courses in ballet, modern dance and choreography. She used this degree to begin choreographing gymnastics floor and balance beam routines for her own gymnastics team and several other gyms in the Morris county area. In 2004 she began working at Randolph Gymnastics where she coached teams in USAIGC and USAG, a Junior Olympic program. These teams went on to win many team and individual state and national titles including being ranked 2nd in the nation in 2008.


Shannon began teaching at Perfect Pointe in 2019 and brought acro to the recital stage for the first time in 2021. She now mainly teaches tumbling to dancers and cheerleaders. Shannon resides in Byram, NJ with her husband, Scott, son, Tanner, and daughter, Ashlynn, who is a member of the Perfect Pointe Company. 

Carly Gyongyosi


Carly Gyongyosi has had a love for dance since taking her very first class at just 2 years old. She grew up in the competitive dance world, training under many talented professional instructors and choreographers. Over the years, Carly studied in many different types of dance including: ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, musical theater, and tap. While she appreciates all forms of dance her strongest styles are in ballet, lyrical, and contemporary.


In addition to competing, Carly served as a student teacher for three years, gaining valuable early experience in the classroom and discovering her passion for working with young dancers. Her love for dance and performing eventually led her to an opportunity to join a dance company in New York City. There, she continued to grow artistically and technically. While dancing in NYC, Carly was also taking classes at New Jersey Ballet to refine her classical training.


Currently, Carly is pursuing a degree in Business Marketing at Centenary University, with plans to graduate in the spring of 2026. While focusing on her academic goals, she continues to stay actively involved in the dance community through both training and teaching.


Now, as a proud member of the Perfect Pointe team, Carly is honored to share her knowledge and passion with young dancers who are starting out just how she did. She is excitedto help students grow, gain confidence, and fall in love with dance.
